Close Workflow Audit Studio
A five-week path that teaches financial auditing guidance for financial close workflow reviews—timed so assignments land before your next Day −5.
What you will practice
- Draft and maintain a one-page close ownership map
- Design a Day −3 sampling plan that survives late receipts
- Run flux triage that ranks workflow risk, not only dollar size
- Write an exception log auditors can follow without a meeting
- Assemble a controller sign-off packet with ranked risks and evidence

Shipping, revenue, and AP holds—how timestamps disagree and how to document the story you chose.
-
03
Sampling without restart
Frame size, replacements, and evidence screenshots that still make sense after a late batch.
-
04
Exception routing
Log design, severity labels, and closing an item so it does not haunt the next period.
-
05
Sign-off & retrospective
Controller packet structure and a short Day +2 review that feeds the next owner map.
FAQ
Do I need to be an auditor to enroll?
No. Controllers, close managers, and shared-service leads enroll regularly. You should already touch a monthly or quarterly close.
Will this configure my ERP?
No—and that is a real limitation. We teach how to review workflows and document findings. We do not implement system changes, write custom scripts, or certify your control environment.
How much time per week?
Plan for three to four hours: one recorded lesson, one artifact assignment, and optional office hours if you hold a Studio Seat.
Is content Korea-specific?
Examples often reference Korean close rhythms and Seoul office coordination, but the workflow methods apply to regional teams closing in English.
Reviews for this course
“Module 03’s sampling frame kept our AP review intact when plant receipts arrived on Day −1. I still want more on lease workflows in a future update.”
★★★★★Sign-off packet from module 05 replaced our 40-page dump.
